Fall Family Festival
This annual fall family event is the first time the Community School family is brought together in its entirety during the school year. All family members are invited to celebrate the fall by making crafts, creating scarecrows, playing games, enjoying entertainment, and sharing an array of delicious food donated by local merchants and parents.

  Bookfair
For several days during the cold winter, the Community School keeps warm by holding its an annual Book Fair. The Book Fair includes storytelling, pajama party story times and appearances by Clifford the Big Red Dog.  All families are invited to attend (and of course, to buy books, as the Book Fair is one of our major fundraisers).
  Pajama Night
As part of the Community School’s winter Book Fair, all current students (and their siblings and parents) are invited to attend an early evening pajama party filled with great stories, entertainment, and snacks.  Of course, pajamas are required attire!

Healthfair
One of the beloved parts of our curriculum is our annual Healthfair, a day when all Community School students bring their favorite teddy bear or doll to school for check-ups.  Parents volunteer at the Healthfair to weigh, measure, check the throats and ears, and dispense band aids to ensure that all teddy bears and dolls leave the Healthfair with good reports!
  Parent Social
The Parent Social is our “grown ups only” event and major annual fundraiser. This is an evening for current parents, alumni and friends of the school to meet, socialize, enjoy entertainment, and bid on fabulous items from our Silent Auction.
  Mayfair
This annual spring event is our end of the year celebration. All Community School family members are invited to participate in crafts and games, to enjoy entertainment, and to share an array of delicious food donated by local merchants.
