SUMMER CAMP
The tradition of excellence in early childhood education continues with the Community School’s highly acclaimed and stimulating summer camp program.  During the regular school year, our school is brimming with activity.  When summer comes, our professional, fun-loving staff shifts gears ever so slightly to create an exciting, but easier paced program for your child.

Community School camp is designed to meet the intellectual, physical, social, creative and emotional needs of three, four and five year olds.  Each week, a special theme is integrated into the children's’ activities, including art projects, snacks, music, stories, and, when age-appropriate, field trips.  The summer camp includes sports, games, body movement, nature and creative crafts.

Many special guests enrich the program throughout the summer.  Special activities include sing-along groups, circus days, pajama day, Olympics, camping out, Crazy Hat Day and a visit by the Long Island Children’s Museum.
